EXPERT TESTIMONY

Catalog description

Course through which the student body will learn the basic knowledge about the procedures to offer an expert testimony that include the preparation for the trial and the knowledge of the processes of expert examination. In the course, they are exposed to practical exercises to develop the skills and abilities required for effective expert testimony, which includes cross-examination and the rules of evidence. The practice of expert work is discussed from the ethical, political and anti-oppressive principles of social work.
