Catalog description

Introductory course about the basic principles, concepts, methods, and formulations of corporate and commercial finance. The student will be exposed to a variety of topics essential to financial decision -making. Including business organization models, key components of financial markets, effects on interest rates and income taxes, financial reporting, and basic financial ratio analysis. Cash flow budgeting, time value of money, the risk and return relationship and cost of capital estimation are also discussed. Requires Laboratory.
