SENIOR DESIGN ROJECT I

Catalog description

This is the first course in a two-part sequence of the Senior Design Project. A research project is promoted, based on professional practices, which will result in the development of a fashion design proposal that expands and develops the student's critical thinking within the discipline. During FADE 400 Senior Design Project I, students will be trained in research processes, methodologies, documentation, literature review and other aspects that allow them to develop a topic of interest and that presents re levance and innovation in the fashion industry. The students are required to develop a written proposal based on the ideation and research of their topic. This writing should focus on a design problem, its findings, and the application of the topic to a fa shion project. The students must document and communicate their creative processes in front a jury.
