Catalog description
In this course the student is introduced to anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the Cardiovascular System. Management and treatment of patients with cardiac problems, such as: angina pectoris, acute myocardium infarct, congestive heart failure and other conditions are described. Also, the basic conc epts of electrocardiogram monitoring and the management and pharmacological treatment of cardiovascular emergencies are discussed.
