Catalog description

This course presents the main strategies used in the intervention and management of the behavior of the student diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It will discuss the basic principles of the suggested models to work with the modification of the behavior of the affected. Educational programs as well as existing approaches to intervene positively with patterns of behavior present in this population will be evaluated. Emphasis will be placed on the application of the techniques with the purpose of evaluating their effectiveness when designing intervention plans that lead to the improvement of the behavior of those diagnosed with ASD.
