EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH METHODS

Catalog description

Study of the nature, scope, and basic methods of scientific research and their application to the educational research process. Various types of research, their processes, and phases for conducting research are studied. Emphasis is placed on the design of the research proposal and its components: identification of research problems, writing hypotheses or guiding questions, literature review, and research methodology. Students will present their research proposal at the end of the course.
