DMPO 704 is the first part of a two -part Pediatric Dentistry and Interceptive Orthodontic Clinical course. In this course students continue uninterrupted comprehensive care to their Pediatric Dentistry Clinic course patients as they also examine, diagnose, treatment plan and perform treatment in newly assigned patients of higher complexity (young patients with high risk and prevalence of carious lesions and malocclusion). Among the activities to be carried out are preventive treatments, non -operative treatments (sealants and fluoride), operative treatments, exodontia, space management and management of non-nutritive sucking oral habits.
