This course focuses on advanced flight techniques and applications of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in various industry applications. Students will gain knowledge of industry -specific flight maneuvers and strategies. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to understand operation requirements to pilot UAS eff ectively in tasks such as aerial photography, agriculture, construction, surveying, and more. BUAS 467 FAA PART 107 REVIEW 1 CREDIT This course is specifically tailored for individuals preparing to take the FAA’s Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Remote Pilot Certification Exam. Covering all topics mandated by federal regulations, the course provides an in - depth review of applicable regulations, airspace classification, weather impacts, sUAS loading and performance, and communication protocols among others. Each unit is designed to provide an understanding of the operational, legal, and practical aspects of sUAS flight, ensuring that participants are well -prepared not only for the exam but also for real-world drone operation. Through lectures, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, students will gain a thorough understandin g of the requirements for safe and effective drone operation in various environments and industries.
