Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and methods of biostatistics as applied to the health and biological sciences. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, correlation, linear regression, and analysis of variance. Emphasis is placed on the application of statistical methods to real-world biological and health-related data.
