Catalog description

The course emphasized the fundamental principles of microbiology and the role of microorganisms in industrial processes. Topics to be included are the characteristics of microorganisms emphasizing structure and identification, use of microscope and staining techniques, isolation of bacteria in pure cultures, handling and cultivation of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, biochemical test and semi and automatic techniques to identify bacteria.
