Catalog description

This basic level course provides the classroom instruction in preparation for initial aircraft systems training. Study of basic systems common to transport category aircraft. Topics include aircraft electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, flight controls, landing, powerplant, pressurization and environmental systems. The course will be conducted through demonstrations, lecture, case analysis and exams. 3 credits, 3 hours of lecture per week.
