Catalog description

The course exposes students to apply the principles of 3D animation with the methods, techniques and virtual environments used in the professional industry. Students will learn the principles of animation with computerized objects, virtual skeletons, cartoons, characters, human expressions, physics, rigging, and scripts in virtual three - dimensional settings; and prepares students with the essential knowledge and skills for the training industry. ANIC 102 3D ANIMATION I 3 CREDITS The course exposes the student to apply the concept of 3D animation with methods, techniques, and virtual environments, used in the training industry. Students are introduced to the principles of computerized object animation in three-dimensional settings, virtual skeletons, fluid simulation, object deformation, physics, and particle effects. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills in the 3D animation standards.
