Catalog description

Study of the fundamental principles and integration of pharmacology and toxicology with an emphasis on the toxic or therapeutic effects of xenobiotics and drugs on human health. The process of exposure, absorption, distribution, biotransformation and excretion of toxic substances in the body is discussed and demonstrated in depth. Exercises on the dose response ratio and mechanisms of action of chemical agents are described and presented. Safety or risk assessment analysis due to exposure to chemical agen ts are introduced. The course discusses the multiple occupations that are integrated into the disciplines of pharmacology and toxicology and demonstrates their importance in society.
