Basic study of the anatomy of the locomotor system and its implications in therapeutic massage. It includes theoretical support and chiro massage techniques to work the muscular system. Emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge and competencies of anatomy and physiology, benefits and physiological effects of techniques t hat manipulate soft tissue, pathology, contraindications, evaluation and reevaluation of the patient. This is achieved through demonstrations and practical exercises that allow students to use massage techniques to specifically affect the locomotor system. It also supports the development of critical thinking, communication and ethics skills and diversity.
