Catalog description
Three credit-hours. Three contact hours per week. The purpose of this course is to establish the relationship and working environment between the student and thesis advisor. The student must select a subject matter and obtain advisor’s approval. The thesis advisor will provide feedback and guide the student throughout the process of writing the thesis, including guidance during the research proposal preparation process. In this course, students will apply the principles, methods, and techniques of scientific research and proper academic writing. At the end of the course, the student will have the written thesis proposal. If it has not been completed, then the student will register the course again to culminate the thesis. For more details on the matter, the student can refer to the Graduate Catalog and Academic Norms. Students will acquire skills for conducting research, develop scientific reasoning, and enhance communication through academic writing. TDGD 330 3D MODELING ANIMATION 3 CREDITS The student will apply the concept of three –dimensional (3D) or “CGI” (Computer Generated Imagery) to integrate their Graphic Design projects. The student will develop 3D modeling using poly tool, scene, organic poly modeling, mapping, texture and lights for excellent rendering. It will work with the tools and techniques used in the industry, in order to prepare students with the essential skills needed today.
