Catalog description
This course deals with the methodology of designing scientific social research. It discusses quantitative and qualitative concepts and procedures applying them to the practice of social work. The topics include research development, theoretical approaches, ethics in research, and el ements of diversity in the investigation, the discussion comparison and application of quantitative and qualitative designs, samplings, the elaboration of research tools and data and information gathering. It facilitates skill development and fundamental k nowledge for the design and completion of research in social work.
