Catalog description

This course consists of a systematic analysis of the development of the social policies that impact the Social Work field in Puerto Rico. It promotes a critical analysis of the political, social, cultural and economic contexts that influence these policies. It supports the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge of the design, implementation and evaluation processes of social welfare policies. The course encourages the use of pra ctice- based research to achieve positive action towards the goal of social justice and equality.
