SUPERVISED PRACTICE I

Catalog description

Supervised Practice I (SOWO 451) places the student in direct service activities and provides the necessary experience for the application of the theories, methodology and skills acquired in an ethical and responsible manner under the supervision of a professional of social work. It is expected that the student begins satisfactorily in the achievement of the objectives of the Supervised Practice as presented in the Practice Manual and completes 200 contact hours in a placement setting.
