The course prepares students to carry out the clinical procedures used in obstetric ultrasound examinations. This allowed him to know important aspects in the study such as: evaluation techniques according to gestational age or term of pregnancy and the acquisition of measures required to evaluate fetal development. In addition, it presents the complications that can develop during pregnancy such as: premature births, fetal death, disorders coexisting with the fetus and pathological conditions of the fetus. Likewise, new modalities in the field of obstetric sonography are discussed, among these, three -dimensional sonography, three -dimensional sonography in real time and the applications of the Doppler technique as a complement in an obstetric sonogram.
