Catalog description
This course consists of the study of the airways, the principles of airway emergency management and life support techniques with adult and pediatric patients, stimulating the development of critical thinking competence. The student is exposed to the development of his scientific reasoning competence by analyzing the indications, contraindications, hazards, and use of various equipment for the emergency management of artificial airways. You will be trained for the initiation and modification of therapeutic procedures for airway management. You will develop the skills of handling materials and life support equipment. It includes a theoretical and clinical component.
