This course Introduces the student of Radiological Technology to development of responsibilities and competences necessary to work with neonatal, pediatric, adult and elderly patient. Topic includes ethical legal aspect of profession, patient handling, int erpersonal communication skills, infection control, body mechanical in the transfer and lifting of patients, clinical historical taking and patient education. Pharmacological aspects will also be discussed in the use and management of contrast media, venop unction techniques and patient handling in emergencies or acute conditions. The student will develop skills in the taking and observation of vital signs.
