Catalog description

The course is the fifth in a six-course series designed to provide supervised experiences where students will develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities to match academic preparation as a movement system expert. Building on prior and concurrent coursew ork knowledge, students engage in hands -on clinical experiences, community -based activities, and immersive laboratories to develop expertise in managing people with movement system dysfunction with primary, secondary, and tertiary cardiovascular and pulmon ary conditions. It emphasizes evidence -based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a patient -centered approach to effectively enhance the quality of life and functional capacity of individuals with cardiopulmonary conditions across the continuum o f care.
