Catalog description

Dynamic lectures, videos, and cases will focus on anatomy, biomechanics, movement dysfunction, and common conditions of the cervical and thoracic spine, craniofacial, and shoulder regions. Diagnostic testing, imaging, and pharmacological / surgical management are integrated with physical therapy patient management, including screening, examination, evaluation, diagnosis and prognosis, plan of care, and interventions. Students gain skills in clinical reasoning and psychomotor skills as applied to patient management across acute, sub -acute, and chronic stages of injury and healing.
