PHYSICAL THERAPIST INTEGRATED EXPERIENCES II

Catalog description

The course is the second in a six -course series designed to provide supervised experiences where students will develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities to match academic preparation as a movement system expert. The course is an introduction to the ap plication of clinical skills learned during prior and concurrent courses. Through a combination of hands-on clinical experiences, community-based activities and immersive laboratories, students will observe, and implement aspects of examination and interve ntions for care of individuals with various movement system dysfunctions and health conditions. Emphasis is on clinical safety, communication, mobility training, professional conduct, and compliance with policy and procedures.
