Catalog description

This course is designed provides student the opportunity to analyze the scientific research process and its relevance in evidence-based practice. Emphasis is placed on the use of the scientific method with an emphasis on problem - solving skills, and scientific and quantitative reasoning. Provides for the development of computer literacy skills and technological competence. The ethical, moral and legal considerations of the patient and the researcher are also discussed. The course requires three (3) hours of class per week.
