Catalog description
This is the second of a four-course series on botanical medicine. These courses are designed to prepare students in the clinical use of medicinal plants in the practice of naturopathic medicine. The traditional, historical, and scientific use of medicinal plants is explained. Students are encouraged to develop an appreciation for medicinal plants. The course covers the Materia Medica of plants used for support an d treatment of endocrine, immunological, inflammatory, musculoskeletal, rheumatic, urological, respiratory and otorhinolaryngological conditions.
