Catalog description

Study of the important aspects for the administration of a salon and the standards of professionalism for nail care technicians. Aspects for effective salon functioning, teamwork, ethics, human relations and communication are discussed. Critical thinking skills, abilities and competencies will be developed to allow the student to manage a salon effectively and professionally, considering all aspects that affect its operations. These competencies will be developed through lectures and demonstrations. In addition, the stu dent is prepared with the necessary skills for the transition to the labor market, including job search, preparation of resumes, and the interview process. It also facilitates the development of communication skills, and ethics and diversity.
