Catalog description
This course exposes the nursing master's student to a wide variety of administrative and theoretical models that are used as a frame of reference for administration. It provides to establish the difference between a leader and an administrator. Evidence -based management theories and strategies are discussed. It emphasizes cultural diversity, ethnically diverse society, and social determina nts of health. In addition, leadership styles, ethical -legal aspects in administration, communication, stress control and time management, are discussed among other topics as they apply to the nursing profession.
