HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS: MANAGEMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY

The course presents an analysis through the development of critical thinking of health care systems, from a managerial and public policy perspective. In addition, the history that affects the management of the health services provided to the community is discussed, with the aim of effectively communicating the factors of cultural competence, as well as equity in access and quality in collective and individual services, which affect decision - making, demonstrating leadership and collective work. In addition, through the analysis and evaluation of the reforms of the health sys tem from the 20th century to the present and the transformation that the different programs have had at the national and international level, health promotion and social participation that has been at the center of the central sciences of public health will be studied in a general way.
