Catalog description

This course covers the theoretical and practical principles of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The student acquires knowledge in the design, installation and repair of components such as valves, compressors, actuators, regulators and other associated components. Skills are developed in reading diagrams and schematics related to the field of industrial hydraulics and pneumatics. The student applies the safety rules and procedures in the laboratory. Scientific reasoning skills will be developed in industrial equipment that uses air and fluids for their operation.
