Catalog description

This course includes descriptive statistical topics such as: basic definitions, sampling techniques, frequency distributions and their graphical representations through histograms, line graphs, circular graphs, ogives, bar graphs, stem and leaf plots. Measures of central tendency and dispersion are studied. Normal distribution and interpretation of Z values. In addition, the concept of correlation and simple linear regression are included. The calculator and computer are used responsibly to develop concepts and skills.
