Catalog description
Three hours of lecture per week. Use of predictive modeling and optimization methods to support engineering management decision making, under conditions of risk and uncertainty. Students will build analytical, Excel - based, end-user models and perform analysis in support of the decision -making process. The course includes spreadsheet modeling (with Excel), Monte-Carlo simulation, stochastic decision making, queuing modeling, and optimization.
