Studies of the different budget models and budgeting strategies as required by the particular characteristics of the health industry. At the end of the course the student will be able to summarize the different models and strategies for the health environment based on their unique characteristics a nd needs. By evaluating the models, students will be able to select the correct model and its application in the present tense. Course participants will propose institutional budget work plans and their relationship with available operational funds and eme rging needs. Emphasis on the relationship between goals and objectives and their quantification. The use of technological programs will be encouraged to assist in the analysis of budget information.
