Catalog description

Analysis of the fundamental concepts of the economy, production, distribution, supply and demand with emphasis on the models of health services in PR and the United States. The student is introduced to the interpretation of economic evaluations with the pu rpose of assisting in decision -making in the commercial health sector. The use of technology will be promoted as a facilitating means for the development of strategies to attract new clients to the health services sector. You will develop the domain of being able to identify the factors that intervene in the production and economic analysis in health service organizations and the different categories of primary, acute and critical clinical care. The student will be able to select the appropriate technological application to satisfy and be able to perform his functions as an economist in the health sector.
