Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the aspects of graphic design and techniques related to editorial design. Conceptualization, communication problem solving, digital preparation (pre-press), as well as printing materials and processes are emphasized. Throughout the course, students will explore various aspects of editorial design, including typography, color theory, image selection, and composition to communicate messa ges effectively through visual storytelling. Through practical projects, students will develop concepts that meet the aesthetic and functional requirements considering the importance of the brand, the visual identity and the target audience of the publishing.
