Catalog description

This laboratory course provides the student with theoretical concepts and practical skills of the different types of existing electrical machinery. The concepts of motors and generators are analyzed. The topics are directed to the principles of operation, selection and installation of the different electrical machines. Different types of DC and AC motors and generators are used. The student will apply all the codes and regulations in the use of electrical machinery. Students will develop competencies in scientific reasoning in this course.
