Catalog description

This course uses the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other regulations for the development of electrical installations in homes and buildings. The student will analyze the following topics: interior and exterior wiring, electrical panel wiring installation, and lighting. Plans will be used for the analysis of residential, commercial and industrial electrical loads. In addition, the applicable electrical rules and safety code s that are required to perform electrical work will be used. Students will develop competencies in technology skills and electrical system design that are required in the analysis of electrical circuits commonly found in the field of technology.
