Catalog description
Students participate in an internship suited to the student's career interest in an industry, government agency, or program, or other institution or foundation directly related to his/her area of study. Internships require the approval of the student's academic advisor, and of the director of the Graduate Program. Approval of written proposal (prior to the semester of the internship) that documents the justification, goals, objectives, specific activities and expected outcomes of the internship must be presented to the academic advisor. The int ernship must last at least one semester following a minimum of 24 credits. The university will maintain communication and coordination with both the student and the sponsor.
