ADVANCE STUDIES IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

Advanced study in environmental sciences. The content can vary from semester to semester, but focused on presenting seminars, laboratory experiences, and analysis of very specialized topics or techniques relevant to environmental sciences students. Themes can be selected from conceptual areas as diverse as sustainable development, co-generation and alternative energy sources, public health, toxicology, ecosystem pollution, urban ecology, environmental planning, or risk management. Students can enroll from 1 to 3 credits during any semester. The specific content of the course will be indicated in par entheses following the title of 'Advanced Study in Environmental Sciences ', or subtitles, so that the conceptual subject of the course be identified in the semester academic offer and in the student’s academic record. The student may repeat this course un der different subtitles until accumulating a maximum of 6 credits.
