ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY

Catalog description

The course emphasizes the effects of environmental contaminants in the living organisms starting from the molecules and ending with the ecosystem. It will emphasize the possible link between environmental exposure at sublethal doses of those contaminants a nd their molecular interactions at the individual level with alterations of function of the ecosystems and human health. We will study how knowledge in the field is used for the making of risk assessment.
