Catalog description

This course develops skills about data analysis, allow to how to obtain, analyze, consult, refine and process them. Studying basic concepts of statistics applied to engineering are, as well as the procedures to identify probabilities, and inferences using quantitative and scientific reasoning and critical thinking. Includes topics such as: descriptive statistics, probability, discrete and continuous random variables, hypothesis tests, regression and commercial tools are discussed. Doing practical exercises determining probabilities by analyzing data, and reaching conclusions, carrying out manual and computerized calculations.
