Catalog description

This course will help to prepare students to learn and practice techniques of wiring and harness and the different types of connectors used in the field. The course will emphasize in wiring practice and the industry standards for networks, fiber optics and avionics. The students will learn to test, bond, shield and identify the assembled wires. The students will learn the harness assembly of wires in avionics from single unit to custom coax cable assemblies. One semester, 1.5 hours of lecture and 1.5 hours of Laboratory per week.
