ESL CURRICULUM: METHODS, MATERIALS, AND ASSESSMENT IN THE ESL CLASSROOM

Catalog description

This course includes the application of teaching -learning theories and instructional models in the process of planning and developing educational and assessment tools in the ESL classroom. It also entails an evaluation of instructional materials available and the techniques for the development and adaptation of existing supplementary materials. The relation of aca demic testing and language skill is emphasized with special focus on the ongoing assessment of the development of language competencies.
