ELEN 311
ELECTRICAL NETWORKS II
Universidad Ana G. Méndez-Carolina Campus · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
Three hours of lecture per week. This course introduces the fundamentals of transient state analysis for second order circuits using differential equations, linear circuit analysis in the frequency domain, sinusoidal steady-state analysis and power calculations. Additional topics include Laplace transform techniques, frequency response analysis of balanced three -phase circuits, and two -port circuit analysis. Students will develop the scientific, quantitative, and techn ological skills required to analyze and design electric circuits commonly encountered in end-user systems such as household appliances and industrial electrical systems.
