Catalog description
This course provides the student with the basic elements of instrumentation and calibration. The concepts of pressure, temperature, level and flow are discussed. The topics are directed to the principles of operation, selection and specifications of different equipment in this area. In addition, this course applies the principles of calibration of industrial instruments such as: valves, sensors and other components. The course is complemented with a laboratory section included in it. Competencies in critical thinking, technology, quantitative reasoning and design will be developed that are required for professionals who use this technology.
