The course offers practical experience in offering school library services, in coordination with the classroom teacher. Students will coordinate reading orientation and development of information and critical thinking skills program activities. Students will apply knowledge and skills acquired in their program of studies in the coordination of reading orientation and development of information and critical thinking program activities. EDUC 530 PSYCHOSOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL IMPLICATIONS AT BIRTH OR ADVENT OF A STUDENT WITH DISABILITIES: FAMILY, SOCIETY, SERVICES AND EDUCATION 3 CREDITS The course focuses on the discussion and analysis of the impact of a student with physical, mental, emotional, and multiple handicaps in the family, society, and educational systems. Family and social systems will be studied to understand both systems’ bi -directional influence in the lives of students with handicaps. The co urse includes discussion of the different psychological processes involved in managing a student with handicaps in family and educational systems. Professional collaboration and the educational possibilities, including transit.
