Catalog description

The Sociological Foundations course promotes the analysis of the concepts, models and theories of Sociology to understand education in its social dimension. It emphasizes the history of sociology and its relationship with education, the nature of culture and social changes focused on economic, political and educational aspects. The process of educational change is analyzed in a globalized context. Emphasis on the development of critical thinking skills, knowledge and pedagogical skills that allow the student to evaluate and propose solutions to discipline problems.
