Catalog description
This course will provide the veterinary student with the knowledge to recognize the history and clinical signs of the most common diseases of farm animals (sheep, goats, pigs, camelids and bees) that allow them to formulate an appropriate list of differential diagnoses. The discussion of clinical cases will allow the student to understand the rationality of the selection of the different diagnostic tests. Special attention will be directed to the compression of therapeutic alternatives, the patient's prognosis and the formulation of disease prevention strategies at the individual and group level. This course will provide the basic clinical knowledge and skills for the efficient recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of the most common diseases affecting farm animals.
