This laboratory focuses on the general anatomy of small animals (dogs and cats). Laboratories use embalmed canine corpses for dissections and prosecutions. Topics covered in the first semester include osteology and muscular systems of the thoracic and pelvic extremities, thoracic and thoracic viscera, abdominal and abdominal viscera, and autonomic nervous system.
