Catalog description
This course integrates previously learned concepts and complements them for the approach to the pediatric population. Students learn theoretical concepts and simulatory laboratory -based pre -clinical skills for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of the main co nditions of the oral cavity in the primary, mixed, and young permanent dentition. The course integrates skills to perform non-operative treatments and operative treatments, pulp therapy in primary dentition, surgical procedures, and space management in inf ants, considering the patients’ dentition, dental morphologies, and orofacial stage of development.
